A lovely afternoon for the unveiling of our very first mental health bench along the Wey Navigation at the New Inn, Send in Surrey 🌿

Thanks to Aspire Community Grants, Guildford Borough Council, for their generous funding, we’ve been able to get this initiative off the ground. The aim is to create a welcoming space where people can stop, breathe, reflect, and connect with nature — while also accessing support through QR codes engraved on the bench, linking directly to mental health and wellbeing resources.

It was also a great moment for some of our counsellors to relax together and enjoy the sunshine ☀️

We hope this is the first of many benches along the route connecting Woking to Guildford.

The bench is placed on the River Wey navigation shown in this photo, 3 canal boats sit on the river and a swan glides on the water.
