Jayne began her education with a History degree from Warwick University and has since continued to study a Higher certificate of Education in Counselling and Counselling skills from Birkbeck University going on to specialise in relationships with Relate.

"I am a BACP accredited counsellor specialising in adult relationship counselling working with individuals and couples on all aspects of relationships (romantic, marriage difficulties, friends, workplace or family).

Other areas of specialism include stress management, anxiety, depression and eating disorders. I also work as a trainer for Relate delivering their level 5 relationship counselling CPCAB course and with local businesses helping them to provide support to staff and delivering mental health awareness training sessions.

I adopt both a pluralistic and psycho educational approach in terms of my counselling style working collaboratively with my clients to suit each of their unique needs. I am trained in systemic and psychodynamic therapy and believe change comes about through a combination of hard work, education, self awareness, and desire. Prior to my private practice I worked for Relate West Surrey and have worked previously for the charity MIND helping to support local businesses”

Counsellor

I am a trainee therapist currently studying the Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling at North West London Counselling and Training (NWLCT). Prior to this, I completed the Graduate Certificate in Humanistic and Psychodynamic Counselling at Goldsmiths, University of London, having completed the Level 2 Award in Introduction to Counselling Skills.

I support clients in a safe, non-judgemental environment, allowing them to explore the issues that matter to them, such as anxiety, self-esteem, relationship concerns, life changes or changes in mood.

My approach is integrative, incorporating the Psychodynamic and Person-Centred models. My work is non-directive and client-led, meaning that I work collaboratively with my clients based on their personal goals.

Research suggests that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor in predicting client outcomes, so I put great emphasis on fostering a relationship which facilitates client growth.

I also have a background in supporting students with their educational goals, as a tutor, which has included neurodivergent students. I have also received training in working with diversity in the therapy room.

I am a student member of the BACP, working towards full qualification and accreditation. I abide by the BACP Ethical Framework and am subject to regular supervision.

I offer low-cost counselling and am available for both in-person sessions at Send Therapy Rooms, and online. To book a session, please email info@myplanethealth.co.uk, or contact Jayne Earl on 07940526602.

Counsellor and trainee supervision lead

Claire is our lead for supervision for our trainee and practicing Counsellors and also works privately from her home in Godalming as well as online via Zoom.

My career includes leading counselling services at Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice, delivering mental health and bereavement workshops, and supporting schools, healthcare organisations, and workplaces. Committed to fostering growth and resilience, I create a supportive space where you can explore your challenges, develop new strategies, and move forward with confidence.

Most of us at some time in our lives will encounter difficult and challenging experiences: a change in relationship, job situation, family circumstances, relationship issues, or death of a loved one. Sometimes it is a gnawing sense of discontentment or incompleteness within ourselves yet not knowing why. We can find ourselves at a crossroads of self-doubt with an inability to find direction.

Feelings such as confusiondepression, low self-esteem and isolation can manifest as anger and irritationlacking motivation, struggling to find purpose and meaning in life, with a sense of no one understanding.

Counselling and psychotherapy offers you the opportunity to speak openly and honestly in a safe and confidential space, sharing those thoughts and feelings you may otherwise keep bottled up without fear of being judged, criticised or dismissed

Trainee Counsellor

I am a trainee counsellor currently in the second year of a Master’s degree in Counselling at Waverley Abbey College, validated by Middlesex University. I am a student member of the BACP, working towards qualification and accreditation.

Prior to my counselling training, I completed a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Psychology, which developed my interest in human behaviour, relationships and the experiences that shape us.

At different times in our lives, we can all face challenges that feel difficult to navigate alone, whether through loss, relationship difficulties, changes in circumstances, anxiety, stress, low mood or uncertainty about the future. Counselling offers a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space to explore these experiences, where you can feel heard, understood and supported at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach is integrative, meaning I draw on a range of therapeutic theories and approaches to support our work together. My training is grounded in the Waverley Integrative Framework, which recognises the importance of understanding the whole person. My practice is informed by an understanding of trauma, with a focus on creating safety, trust, collaboration and working at a pace that feels right for each individual.

I believe the therapeutic relationship is central to counselling and aim to create a space where clients feel respected, accepted and supported in developing greater self-awareness and understanding. I work within the BACP Ethical Framework and receive regular supervision as part of my ongoing professional development.
