Donate and Support your Employees well-being; partnering with MIND in Surrey
The charity MIND based in Woking, Surrey are providing a selection of support services to all Surrey businesses interested in ensuring the well-being and mental health of their staff is being adequately supported and cared for, a timely placed initiative, as employees and businesses get ready for a return to the workplace as COVID restrictions begin to lift.
Tailored to suit the needs of businesses both big and small, MINDS work packages, all competitively priced fall into 3 main areas. Companies can pick and choose which areas work for them following a free consultation with MIND’s workplace well-being Manager.
Consultancy Where trained mental health and well-being experts help workplaces write and in-bed their well-being strategies.
Training Open to all employees, or to train the trainer management training entitled “Good boss” which ensures managers are educated to be aware of the signs to look for in their staff whether that be stress, low mood, depression, anxiety or other forms of mental health illnesses. MIND also offer specific Mental Health First Aid training and are currently running training sessions on back to work after COVID which are proving particularly popular.
Ongoing Support Services Nick-named MIND’s alternative to the Employee Assistance Programme, this yearly subscription enables business to provide businesses and their staff to ongoing telephone support direct to a dedicated mental health expert at MIND, access to a trained MIND professional or volunteer via MINDS Community Well-being Calls programme (CWC), access to staff assessed and in need to MINDS trained counsellors (6 sessions per person), access to MINDS local drop in groups of which there are many including mindfulness sessions, depression and anxiety group support and to Zoom and other online workshops offering mental health and well-being advice as well as to other social groups such as MIND longstanding ramblers, walking and creative workshops.
And to wrap it all up every organisation who partake in one or more of MINDS well-being packages immediately become a partner with MIND as a charity and can promote this via their internal and external communications and will be sent regular newsletters keeping them up to date with the events MIND are hosting across Surrey along with fundraising activities.
