My Planet Health C.I.C is delighted to announce that we’re expanding our support for young adults aged 18–22 across Surrey! We’re thrilled to share that we’ve received a £8,763 donation from the National Lottery Community Fund to help grow The Bridge Project—our initiative offering free counselling and practical workshops to young people in this age group.
The Bridge Project is all about helping young adults feel supported, confident, and ready for the next chapter of their lives. We know that the transition into adulthood can be challenging, and many young people don’t always get the emotional or social support they need. Phase 1 of the project will focus on care-experienced and disadvantaged young adults in our community, who often face extra barriers to accessing mental health services, life skills training, and social support—especially when statutory support comes to an end.
Through The Bridge Project, we’ll be offering free counselling and workshops that help build confidence, develop essential skills like CV writing and financial planning, and provide tools for managing anxiety. Our goal is to empower young people with the foundations they need to take meaningful steps toward independence, wellbeing, and future employment.
